For 89 years, luxury retailer Neiman Marcus has regaled shoppers with its unique selection of extravagant holiday gifts. This year is no different.
For those willing to shell out half-a-million dollars on themselves or their loved ones, shelling out nearly $100,000 for a trip above the Earth is a mere pittance. For the other 99 percent, however, the catalog is free to browse and dream about.
Apparently, money isn't an option for many Neiman gift buyers. Last year, the retailer sold over $5.1 billion of luxury goods.
Ginger Reeder, a director at Neiman Marcus, said the fantasy gifts give shoppers "a once-in-a-lifetime" chance to live like a celebrity or an astronaut. "We make that dream happen," she said.
Reeder predicted most items, particularly a limited edition Mustang, will sell out "quickly."

Other items that are likely to be popular with Neiman's shoppers include $475,000 custom perfumes, $50,000 his-and-her amphibious water cruisers, and a $344,500 limited edition Aston Martin Vanquish Volante.
This year's Christmas Book continued in this unique tradition, offering up a sampling of items and experiences aimed at pleasing even the most indulgent consumers—and include road trips with famous actors and a trip to outer space.

Standouts from 2015 collection include an exclusive two-day motorcycle trip along the California coast with actor Keanu Reeves. The $150,000 price tag includes a KRGT-1 Arch motorcycle, hotel and airfare.
If a road trip across the Golden State seems too tame, $90,000 per person will buy you and five companions a high-altitude balloon ride and subsequent space capsule trip 100,000 feet above the Earth.
The out-of-this-world journey includes two hours spent floating 20 miles atop 99 percent of the Earth's atmosphere. That's about double the height most commercial jets are allowed to reach. A refreshment bar and assortment of snacks are included in the cost.
For those with less lofty but no less luxurious ambitions, Neiman put together a seven-day art tour of Florence and Venice.
The VIP trip includes a private workshop tour of Italian jewelry designer Ippolita Rostagno. The $150,000 adventure for four people includes a $10,000 charitable donation.
A $400,000 vacation to India is the priciest gift in this year's catalog.
The 12 day journey for two includes stays at five star hotels and private jet travel to Mumbai, Jaipur, Udaipur and Delhi. Experiences include private cricket lessons, a guided tour of the Taj Majal and dance lessons on a Bollywood movie set.
Each year, Neiman Marcus features a limited-edition automobile, and this year's model is a Mustang convertible priced at $95,000.
Equipped with 700 horsepower, the car can reach speeds of 60mph in 3.5 seconds. Delivery is set to begin by March 1, 2016, and includes a two-day in-class and on-track private instruction from professional race car drivers.
