Diane E. Alfano

Diane E. Alfano is the Chairman and CEO of Institutional Investor, a premier global media company with offices in New York, London, Hong Kong, Melbourne and Santa Monica covering the financial services industry. Institutional Investor has over 20 publications which include Institutional Investor, Alpha, The Journal of Portfolio Management, The Journal of Retirement, and Global Money Management, as well as research and data services, 17 membership institutes, numerous conferences and events serving the asset management industry globally, and an online community of asset allocators representing the largest investing institutions worldwide. Diane was the first woman to serve on the Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC Board when she was an Executive Director from 2000 until January 2016. She is currently a member of the Group Management Board of Euromoney PLC. She is a Board Director of the Centre for Investor Education based in Melbourne, Australia, a company that Institutional Investor acquired in 2013 and Zanbato Inc. based in Mountain View California. Diane has been with Institutional Investor since 1984. Prior to joining Institutional Investor, she was an Account Executive with the Burroughs Corporation. Diane is a graduate of Tufts University in Boston with a B.A. in both French and Political Science and she also studied at La Sorbonne and the Institut d'Etudes des Politiques (Sciences-Po) in Paris.
